Entry:10.Wrap-up:Outcomes of the course
My impression about ICT course is very well. Because before entering the University we learned computer skills at school and lyceum but it was only in uzbek. In ICT course we improved our skills how to work with techniques, compared online dictionaries, we had online courses on Alison.com, registered on Wikipedia, learned how to work with google disk and etc. ICT lecturers actively carry out research into learning with ICT. This research directly informs the education programs. All in all I can tell without hesitation that this course gives only good result to our knowledge. Before the entering University I didn’t know except MC Word and Excel but after the ICT courses during the last 3 months I have learnt a lot of things. For instance, how to create the blog, websites and post entries, how to use.Facebook and especially how to make a presentation and how to do the commands: Paste, save, copy, Select, Underline, Bold and other orders without a mouse. I want to think to my teacher for all her lessons and her patience.

Entry:9.Pros and cons of different social media application.

The increasing pervasiveness of the Internet and social media has given rise to new ways of information Sharing and communication. The inn advantage is that students can further explore topics that they are interested in by using online social networking since they may have limited resources and time. While using social networks as a form of assistant in the field of education, also show negative impacts on students. One of these impacts is to be addicted to the networks. Apart from the negative aspects of social networks, there are some occasions that they can influences is that people will obtain more convenient ways of living. Online shopping will reduce the time consuming of housewives. Always keep in touch, convenient for work.

Entry:8.How useful are online self-assessment tests.

While several people in the world doubt the usefulness of online assessment tests, these questionnaires are tools that can help you gain information about yourself that can provide a sense of direction you may feel you lack. This is the benefit of structured assessment methods. When asked to describe yourself you may come up with a few general characteristics. Not every online assessment tool provides useful implications that you can put into practice in your life. Self- help assessments can provide a great deal of information that can give you the knowledge to help you live a life in which you flourish and succeed.

The self-assesment test wants to help you make a substantiated decision, but at the end of the day it can only one of a variety of instruments. As soon as you have

downloaded a module you will only be asked to go online again once you have completed that modules.

Entry:7. The best project I made
From ICT course we did different kinds of project work as creating animaker videos E-portfolios and blogs.Innovative and creative projects often give people full enthusiasm to come up with that your heart disires to try.
Creating E-portfolio is quintessential example of this.Working with this project work I really learned so many new things for me.The most enjoyable task was also E-portfolio.I made my own portfolio and I have been using similarly equated to creating website with a few crucial differences.
As  everyone  said the coin has two sides that I had many troubles to create it and understand each point of this site.However, I learned by my heart and I used it in my daily life.Not only this new project allows to have  your own position in internet but also to have possibility presenting your knowledge.
In the rear,it is worth to note that creating portfolio is a reason for loving this subject.

Entry:6.My test taking strategies.

When we are going to be tested just all of us have our own preparationing ways. But coming to me, I also have step by step actions before exam or test. I try to spend as many hours as it will be necessary to understand the material that will be covered on the test well enough to achieve a high score. I will increase my confidence if I take time to relax. As soon as I begin the test , I write down information that I will likely need to know for the test. At the end, I check to make sure I have completed all of them. From my view, it really takes time and practice to develop effective test taking skills.

But I don’t have a definite test strategy. I think that if you know everything, I don’t need in any strategy. But of course it is impossible to know everything, so others may be have some strategies, but I do not.

 Entry:5.Critical analysis of online learning websites.
  I visited so many internet websites which we can use it for learning many foreign languages with different way, so I am going to write about that effective sites were given student by teacher for looking through them. Each site has same aim to teach us languages in small amount of time.
First, I visited to DUOLINGO.com which is the world’s popular way to learn a language.It is 100% free, fun and science-based. You can see Duolingo labs where you can find experimental projects, stories which uses dialogue to help intermediate and advanced lerners improve their  skills, events where you can practice your communication skills and meet members of the wonderful community, also there is Duolingo Podcast which delivers fascinating real-life stories in easy-to-understand.In site’s dictonary you can look up words, translations and examples sentences. Besides that, you can test yourself in each level of languages and I think it is big opportunity to learn and improve over all skills.
Second, I found as  one of the fun-insused way to learn  a new language among other sites is Mango Languages. This website prepares lerners for realistic conversation and strengthens everyday communication skills in over 70 world languages.Each mango lesson begins with brilliant method that helps you learn grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and meaning intuitively.I believe it is better to learn your new languages in this site.
Third best site to work with excellent in-depth materials in a modern way is Busuu.It also provides you with free lessons which can help you to improve your language learning, vocabulary and pronunciation with different kind of activites. It gives you important information about your level, number of words you learn, level of learning and feedback about your study.
All of the websites can help you but I choose three most effective sites of them.There are also other sites but they have some defects. Many of them  specialized to one or two languages, so expensive, some of them have not possibilities to listen audios of words. I consider that choosing websites plays important role in our study that we have to learn hard and work on ourseves.  

Entry:4.Am I slow or a fast reader?
To tell the truth I am a fast reader and I am happy with it. I re-read sentences or paragraphs. Sometimes I stop to laugh or cry for a minute. I usully read 20-35 pages per session, and a 50 page session is long for me. I read pretty fast. Admittedly, when my friends and me are reading the same topic I usually finish it before them. There are speed reading classes that claim to teach some of these skills. And they are skills! With practice, anything improves . I can’t speak to the efficacy of these classes in adults,but the ideas certainly are valid. If you find yourself struggling to remember important details like names and locations, give writing them down a try. I know people who struggle to remember those things like you do who do this and writing it down makes it more likely for it to stick in their minds.

   I recommend to read many books every day. It’s help to improve our out-looking!

Entry:3.Listening podcasts and applications
As everyone knows listening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages in the communication process. It is not exaggeration that listening tools are not just for vanity. When it comes its advantage side, it is good to jump into conversation, post blogs, read articles, and so on. Find ways for interaction with people talking about your brand, then engage with them. Whenever someone is posting something negative, don’t be overly sensitive. You can deal with it using some humor or a take it as constructive criticisms. Frankly speaking, I spend the equivalent of doing homework at my computer or laptop, and that is usually with audio turned on. On top of that, I have my mobile phone almost everywhere with me. Additionally, podcasts are also an essential method for creating our own radio station. It is portable and useful especially it really saves our time and energy indeed. We can listen to podcasts at home, when we are walking, commuting, or pretty much anywhere else.

    Entry:2. My computer skills: Strengths and weaknesses
In our daily life we come across so many life’s testes especially in our job or in our study place where we spend rest of our time.
Today we are strong teach savvy because of mostly utulising technology in our life.In my course I learned so many new programs, apps, websites which we need to know for our future profession.Before the course I had a lof of weaknesses to utulise computer programs, uploading and updating. It can be  good example using Languages sites and blogs.Nowadays I know all the lesson and using them in my profession appropriately exept Animaker.This program was my big weakness during the lesson.But now I try to understand it correctly and use it not only in ICT but in all my subject many times.My strengths are so much computing with help of the course.I can easly open educational resources, create E-portfolios and Blogs as well as I use them for improving my language learning skills
All in all , I’m really satisfied with my computer skills which I can use in my study entirely.

    Entry:1.My first impression and expectations of the University Classes
    My University is an educational institution which is widely recognized all over the world. It has been  my first choice because I believe that it as the ability to provide me with quality education.
    To be honest, I came to University with high interests in my first day. Because it had been built two years ago. Firstly, I thought it would be typical class as others, but I was a bit wrong about resembling. Actually, it has a big distinction among other Universities that it is light, large, goudy ,well-equipped with high caliber projectors and expensive TV.
    My first impression of my class was really positive that I felt myself in the best place around the world.It’s not only just building and equipment for people who love studying, but also a big opportunity for learning. At the expense of favorable surroundings, students can enjoy their studies comfortably in cool air-conditioned and brightly illuminated rooms. On top of that, student  who do not own a computer  do not have to worry, as the university provides more than 200 high speed  computers across the building and the library. Apart from providing computers for students, they also provide high Internet access throughout the university
To sum up, my university includes not only adorable  rooms or accommodation but also qualificated and well-experienced teachers and I think it is one of the best more than I expected.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Japan in autumn

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Japan in autumn, the Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Ilkhom Nematov told Sputnik.

“Uzbekistan has been actively building up relations with Japan. And the Japanese government approves of our economic reforms. Now we are discussing the upcoming visit of the President Mirziyoyev. The Japanese authorities are also looking forward to this visit,” he said.

Uzbekistan and Japan have been cooperating in many areas, among which, educational programs, cultural events. Also, Japanese companies are leaders in the supply of equipment for Uzbekistan's thermal power plants.







       

Uzbekistan requests to extend timeline for registration for its citizens in Russia

At a meeting of the Uzbek-Russian intergovernmental commission on labor migration in Krasnoyarsk, Uzbekistan requested to extend the timeline for registration of its citizens in Russia - from 7 to 15 days from the date of arrival.

Such a registration period is already valid for the nationals of Tajikistan.

In addition, the Uzbek side has prepared a draft intergovernmental agreement between Uzbekistan and Russia on the mutual recognition of medical examination card of migrant workers.

, an agreement on recruitment of labor migrants has been in force Since December 2017between Uzbekistan and Russia. To this end, a representative office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation was opened in Uzbekistan for hiring of potential foreign workers and for their preliminary training.

According to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Uzbek migrants make up about one tenth of all those who come to work in the Russian Federation — about 1 million people.

BBC journalist gets accreditation in Uzbekistan

The BBC Uzbek service journalist Avazbek Takhirov has been accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and now is able to perform activities within Uzbekistan.

Earlier in December the journalist of the Voice of America Navbahor Imamova was also accredited by the Foreign Ministry.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev cooks pilaf on Eid al-Fitr Eve

Saida Mirziyoyeva, the elder daughter of the President Mirziyoyev, posted on her Facebook page a photo on which the President of Uzbekistan is cooking pilaf.

“Sometimes our dad cooks pilaf himself for the family, while we help him. Happy Eid al-Fitr Eve!” she noted.

The President of Uzbekistan has two daughters, one son and five grandchildren.

Tashkent airport leaks during heavy rain

The newly-made roof of the international arrivals terminal of the Islam Karimov Airport was clearly not impervious to heavy rain on Monday evening.

Photos and videos circulating on social media showed water dropping from the roof of the airport. The airport administration today confirmed that there were instances of rain getting through the roof.

The facilities nearby, including taxiways and part of the landing zone were also flooded. A spokesman said too much water in the drains had led to blockages. “The drainage system to which the terminal is connected was full of water, and therefore could not cope with the flow,” the source said.

According to the source, the airport administration intends to provide video materials to the Presidential Administration and TashGIPROGOR design institute, which performed the construction and development of the terminal project with an aim to obtain a technical solution.

In April, the Tashkent city administration named five reasons why the capital does not cope with heavy rainfall. One of them is the outdated irrigation and drainage system, which needs almost US$ 60 million to overhaul.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev signs pardon decree

Ahead of the Eid al Fitr, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Pardoning A Group of Persons Serving Sentences, Who Have Sincerely Repented Their Deed Decree, a source in the government said.

The decree pardoned and reprieved 575 citizens, of which 361 were fully pardoned, while the sentences of 214 people were substituted for lesser sentences.

Among those pardoned, there are 7 people who are over 60 years of age, 6 women and 1 foreign citizen.

Tashkent-based Humo club to play in Higher Hockey League in 2019-2020 season

The Tashkent-based Humo hockey club will play from the 2019-2020 season in the Higher Hockey League (VHL), the Uzbekistan Hockey Federation (UHF) said in a statement.

“On May 31, a meeting of the chiefs of the VHL clubs took place in Sochi, which traditionally summed up the completed hockey season. The event began with the introduction of new clubs that will join the Higher Hockey League in the season 2019-2020. Among them, the Uzbek hockey club Humo”, - the statement said.

Kirill Matveev, Vice-President of the UHF, made the club’s presentation, briefed about the infrastructure, transport and other facilities and about the club’s plans.

A contract was also signed Evgeny Popikhin as the head coach of the team, with talks underway over who will be part of the team.

During the event, a new structure for the championship is presented - division by divisions and conferences will be introduced in the VHL. Groups are formed taking into account logistics in order to optimize the costs of clubs. The league structure and calendar will be made public in July.

The Humo Club was founded in 2018 and in 2019 played in the first championship of the Uzbek Hockey League.

Turkey defeat Uzbekistan in friendly

Turkey national team defeated Uzbekistan in a friendly match 2: 0, through the two goals by the Lille defender Zeki Çelik. The match at Alanya Bahcesehir Stadium saw Turkey go up in the 17th minute, when defender Zeki Celik's header found the net.

In the second half, Turkey increased the lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute, this time Çelik followed up a saved shot by Kenan Karaman.

It was the first time ever that Uzbekistan and Turkey squared off against each other.

Uzbekistan will play another two friendlies in Tashkent against North Korea (June 7) and Syria (June 11).

These matches will be part of the preparation for the qualifying round of the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

The draw for the World Cup qualifying round is due in July.
